Odd Numbered Years are Better
2008 will always be sentimental, being our establishing year and all (it sort of has that 1836 sort of ring, doesn’t it? ) , but boy are we preparing for one hell of a moonboot backflip into ‘09. As we lay good ol’ 2008 to rest, we’d like to wish all 6 of our listeners a very Happy New Year. Lay off the cheap test tube shots.
One From the Vault
Believe it or not, it hasn’t been a year since neon toxic sand crabs birthed Pink Stallone on sketchy jersey shore dunes. Be sure to expect some sort of celebratory birthday mix when we finally reach one year old status. Admittedly though, the journey feels longer, and in fact , does root back to our distant childhoods.
Every serious musician goes through a rap phase, Dan just happened to experience his at age 7. Here is one from the Pink Stallone vault: February 25, 1993 - “Group 1″ in “Don’t Smoke Or Else You’re a Joke”.

Roberto Vittori’s Space Journey
The main objectives of the ‘Marco Polo‘ mission are to exchange the Station’s current Soyuz vehicle, which serves as the main emergency rescue craft for the Space Station crew, and to carry out a number of ASI and ESA experiments on board the ISS.
ASI experiments:
* Alteino, to study the effects of cosmic particles on brain functions
* Chiro, to monitor impairment of muscle function in weightlessness conditions
* Vest, to validate the in-orbit functionality of garments designed to reduce the weight and volume of astronaut’s clothing .

Vlad
Vlad doesn’t really say much, and doesn’t like to say very much, so he decided to commission a theme song. His requirements for the anthem were rather straight forward; “much like the logo of a superhero, the track must signify my presence” (by literally projecting from a speaker taped to his chest). “The alternative benefits to the theme song include avoiding verbal interactions, the letter V, tight pantyhose, and an acid neon cape.”
We came up with this little ditty, and we hope he likes it. Vlad, the track, is the first release from our large back catalogue of instrumentals, all stored in the vaults of various basements. We might even get our shit together and collect 3 or 4 of them into an EP. Stay tuned.
